mPrest Presents to Chicago Audience on Taking Iron Dome Technology to the Market
This week, Natan Barak, President, CEO and Co-Founder of mPrest, was in Chicago to present the company and the opportunity to invest in it through OurCrowd, the world's leading equity crowdfunding platform, based in Jerusalem. mPrest is applying the ‘brains’ of the Iron Dome missile defense system to the Industrial Internet of Things: mPrest, currently used to coordinate and control the sensors and equipment of the Iron Dome system, is successfully making its technology available for non-military uses. In the increasingly connected world, cheap, off-the-shelf sensors installed into cars, water pipes, power grids, and factories, are constantly recording data that computer systems use to autonomously optimize operations (e.g. optimizing the power consumption of a nationwide water utility and achieving multi-million dollar cost saving). mPrest has created a highly robust, scalable and flexible software system for smart-asset management which has been proven in the most demanding environments.
One of mPrest's biggest markets is working with utilities who can make complex systems more efficient and effective, and utilities should look forward to visiting mPrest and hundreds of other companies at WATEC, Israel's largest exhibition on the water industry, October 12-15 in Tel Aviv.
